Today I deleted a large portion of the "old" website save for the index page, homepage and rebuilding page. however, i also totally gutted the homepage and rewrote the contents of the rebuilding page. the main reason for this is many of the old website's pages were outdated, had been on the site for (in my opinion) too long or I otherwise wasn't happy to have them there.
